In Eunoia, health care is provided by national and local governments.The older population in Eunoia is very superstitious. They believe in homeopathy because this is how the people saved their Emperor in 1530 from a near death experience. The older generation is convinced that this is the only and right way to survive. The younger generation wants to know more about the health care in other cultures. For this reason, illness occurs more frequently by the older than by the younger generation.
The crime rate in Eunoia is not that high. The fact that the younger generation wanted to go their own way is not revealed to the outer world. Violent crimes are hardly never reported. The different families do not want to get a bad reputation in the villages. The crimes are solved secretly.
Rumour has it that there is sexual or other discrimination. The older generation are having difficulties to accept homosexuality.
CULTURE
The day that the king Hai survived from poisoning is seen as the national day. This day takes place the first of august. On the first the whole country is celebrating the king. On this day, people are not allowed to work. Also the schools are closed. Enjoying your life is the only thing that you may do that day. Furthermore there is the festival “Existencia” that takes place the first week of July. Many inhabitants go listening to the local bands those weeks. But in general, there aren’t a lot of great artists in Eunoia. Film, music and literature are not seen as that interesting. The technological advances are more important.
Due to its young independence, most of its citizens are more attracted to neighbouring countries. Tourism in Eunoia is still in its developing stage. But remarkable yet is their sense for fashion. Besides the fact that the younger generation is very interested in technology and medical science are they also very interested in fashion. Major fashion labels have their flagship store in Eunoia.

GOVERNMENT
Eunoia is a country ruled by a fairly elected president. The president is called Arthur Rutcherford. A few decennia ago it was a constitutional monarchy where the power of the Emperor was unlimited. Nowadays the population determines the way of life in general. When the king who was called Hai, was poisoned his nation was very supported. So after his revival he thought that they had the right to get more participation in the country. This monarchy has developed to chairmanship through the years.
ECONOMY
Eunoia serves a leading role in the international economy. Changes in this country’s stock market are usually felt in other countries as well.
Large international banks have their headquarters in the capital of this country, Gloma. Nevertheless Eunoia is not influenced by it commerce. The population and government continue their primitive life. The older generation doesn’t admit to external influences. They only trade with other countries but they have no interest to modernise their own country.
They do business with the whole world, but especially with countries like China, Indonesia and Russia. They export a lot more goods to other countries than that they import. The reason for this purpose is that Eunoia produces almost every single good by herself. The population is specialized to produce goods on a primitive way.
Especially goods like grains, oil, spices, wine, silk, wool are traded. Eunoia disposes also of a huge supply of oil. They make a lot of profit with this supply because the Western countries give much money for it. But the last 2 years however, the country ended up with a larger deficit than expected.
EDUCATION
Primary schools, secondary schools and universities were introduced in 1901 as a result of a debate in which the younger generation raised their voices for more knowledge. Almost all children continue their education at the same school.
The older generation is educated but on a lower level than the younger one. In former times it was namely usual that children did not study but just took over the family business of their parents. As a result they were not obligated to go to universities. The younger in contrast refuse this sort of future and want to climb as high as possible on the social ladder. Knowledge is essential for them.
Illiteracy occurs in some families who had not much money to send their child to higher education. Almost nobody from the younger generation is illiterate but by the older ones this occurs.
ECOLOGY
Compared with other countries is Eunoia very well in terms of ecology. The population of Eunoia is generally speaking very durable. The older generation does this on a more primitive way. Young people on the other side are looking for new technologies. Although the population already lives very economical, Eunoia has a huge potential to save even more energy by the innovative ideas of youth.
